Elevated Students — A Quick Guide for Students

Version 1.2 | Effective September 29, 2026 | Published at elevatedstudents.ai/student-terms-summary

This is a plain-language summary written for you, the student. It is not the full legal terms. The full terms and privacy policy are linked at the end, and they are what legally applies. Your parent or guardian set up your account and agreed to the terms for you, and by using Elevated you are agreeing too.

What Elevated is

Elevated helps you understand yourself and your family and grow: your strengths, your interests, how you learn, and your path toward your goals. It is a learning and development tool. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical care, and it is not a doctor or a crisis service.

What we collect and why

When you chat with our agents, answer questions, talk in voice sessions, or share documents, we use what you share to build your portrait and your discovery insights, and to help your family and any coach you work with support you. We only collect what we need for that.

Talking with our AI agents

The agents you talk with are AI, not people, and their names include “AI,” like the discovery AI agent. They will tell you they are AI, that they cannot feel emotions, and that the conversation is not private between just you and them and is not therapy. They will tell you again any time you ask. What you share can be seen by your parent or guardian, by any coach your family has authorized, and by people at Elevated. We do not share it with anyone else.

Voice sessions

Some sessions use voice, and those are recorded to create written summaries. You will be told at the start when a session is being recorded, and you can choose not to take part in a recorded session. We do not make a voiceprint of you and we do not analyze your voice for emotion or tone; the audio is only turned into a transcript and then deleted.

Your safety

If something you share suggests that you or someone else may be in danger, our system shows you support resources like the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, and a trained person on our team reviews it and decides what to do, which may include reaching out to your parent or guardian. This is not a live emergency service and we cannot promise to catch everything, so if you are ever in danger, call 911, or call or text 988. We look only for safety, not for mental-health treatment, which we do not provide.

Your rights, including at 18

You can ask us what information we have about you and ask us to correct or delete it. When you turn 18 you become an adult and control your own information: you can keep things as they are, take over the account, limit or remove your parent’s access, or ask us to delete your information. If you do nothing, things simply continue so you never lose access. We will remind you of these choices around your 18th birthday. To make a choice, email privacy@elevatedstudents.ai.

Disputes

The full terms say that most disputes are handled through a private process called arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court, and you can opt out of that within 30 days. The details are in the full terms.

The full terms

This guide is a summary. The documents that legally apply are the Service Platform Terms and Conditions at elevatedstudents.ai/service-terms-and-conditions and the Privacy Policy at elevatedstudents.ai/privacy-policy. If you have questions, email privacy@elevatedstudents.ai.
